We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the item(s) purchased minus the initial cost of shipping if all items from the order are returned. Unfortunately, we cannot offer exchanges at this time due to fluctuations in product availability.

Return Cost

As a small business and due to the increasing costs of shipping, picking, packing and processing fees, we’re unable to cover return costs and like many other online retailers, we unfortunately do not offer a free returns service at this time.

 

If your full order is returned, the original shipping fee (usually £4.99 for a Royal Mail 48 hour Service, £6.49 for a 24 hour service, £11.99 for Special Delivery and a variable amount depending on location for international orders) will be deducted from the refund due.

 

We may be able to assist with generating a return shipping label for UK customers using Royal Mail - contact support@sausagedogbox.co.uk for more information. An additional fee £2.50 for the return label will be deducted from your refund should you require us to provide this. Alternatively, please arrange your own shipping to the address below. You are welcome to use any carrier however we do recommend using a tracked service - Sausage Dog Box is not liable for any lost parcels.

To be eligible for a refund, your item(s) must be unused, unworn, unwashed and in the same condition that you received it (a resalable condition). ​We recommend that you carefully try new items indoors, just in case you need to return them. 

 

OUR SIMPLE 3 STEP RETURNS PROCESS:

 

1. Pop your item(s) in a packaging bag with a note of which items you are returning and why. Please also include you order number and your name.

2. Post back to us at the following address:

3. Once your return has been received and checked we will aim to process your return within 3 working days.

Large Items

If you need to return a larger item such as a pram or crate please get in touch with us at support@sausagedogbox.co.uk.

 

Faulty/damaged items
Please inspect the items upon receiving your order and contact us ASAP if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item/size so that we can put things right.

 

Exchanges
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer exchanges. You are welcome to return any unwanted items and make a separate purchase for the new item/s. Limited addition items and end of line products may not be available for long so we recommend placing a new order quickly should you and your pup wish to get your paws on something special. 

 

Refunds 
You will be automatically refunded on your original payment method minus any initial postage costs, which is usually £4.99 for a Royal Mail 48 hour Service, £6.49 for a 24 hour service and £11.99 for Special Delivery. Shipping costs are increased and based on location for international orders. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund. You will receive an email notification once your return has been processed and the return should arrive back with you within 3 - 5 working days.​

 

Please take note that if you spend over £55 for a UK order, you're eligible for free 48 Hour Royal Mail shipping. However, if you choose to return your whole order, a deduction for the initial postage cost already paid by Sausage Dog Box may be deducted from the refund amount to cover the shipping and processing costs already incurred.

If you would like to place another order for your Sausage Dog and you are unsure on the size would be best, please feel free to get in touch with us at support@sausagedogbox.co.uk. It would be helpful to include the item you wish to purchase, your dachshunds neck, chest and back measurements, along with their general build as each item has a different design and amount of stretch. We are always happy to assist with sizing as best we can, so feel free to get in touch!
