At Sausage Dog Box, we are thrilled to unveil our latest addition - the Perfect Fit Dachshund Coat. Designed with your Wieners comfort in mind, our fleece Daxi coat is crafted to perfection. They are fully adjustable at the neck and chest so you can find the ideal size easily. Also, this makes it the perfect puppy dachshund coat as it will ‘grow’ with them. 
 
The Dachshund jacket fastens around the chest with strong velcro for a close fit. To make the coats even more secure we have added additional adjustable straps with buckles to prevent slipping or sliding, ensuring it stays on perfectly while walking and running. 
 
Our Dackel coats have a longer neck for added cosy-ness, and the thickest 3000g/m PolarTec fleece to keep your Ween warm and protected from the cold weather. 
 
Made with a water-repellent outer surface and an intelligent breathable membrane, our practical Dachshund raincoat offers unparalleled protection from the elements while preventing overheating. Featuring a reflective trim for nighttime visibility, ensuring their safety during your evening Dachshund walks.

That's why our Dachshund coats have a unique design with a 'V' shape to accommodate both male/female Doxies, ensuring they can move with ease and do their business without any restrictions. 
They also feature a harness hole for attaching a lead making walks practical and convenient for you and your Wiener. 
 
Sizing
After extensive research over the last 5 years, we've perfected the sizing to offer the best-fitting Dachshund coat that you can get your paws on within a few days- no long waits for made to measure here! Our innovative Sausage Dog Coats cater to both skinny and curvier Dachshunds thanks to being adjustable at the neck and chest. We have reviewed over 1,000 dachshund measurements to create a matrix of sizes to suit all builds of the breeds, from Dachshund puppies, Miniature Dachshunds and Standard Dachshunds. 
They are designed to fill the small gap between their front legs comfortably while providing ample chest and tummy coverage. They feature longer coverings over the hind bottom area, to make the back length variable and provide extra shelter from the rain. This can also be a great benefit if your dachshund is between standard back lengths, as perfect sizing can still be accomplished.
 
So if your Dachshund hates the rain or feeling cold out Perfect Fit Coats are a must have! 
 
Do dachshunds need coats? 
Dachshunds can benefit from wearing a coat as their body shape exposes them more to the cold. Their low build and short legs make them feel cold more than other breeds. A dog coat provides extra warmth for walks in cool weather and keeps their belly dry and mud-free.
